Paper doesn't refuse ink
I think it's very strange that McEntee went on the offensive against players from his own club.
Didn't Oisin O'Neill play through the pain barrier during last year's club and Ulster club championship before he got an operation on his ankle? Questioning his loyalty seems hugely misplaced.
As for the rest off McEntees article against the other cross players maybe the players are injured or had something else previously booked - who knows.
Didn't Rian play for the county v Cork and then that evening for his club is a tournament final in Down.
I'd pass very little remarks on McEntees article - it's good for the fire
What?? The IN has a story that might not be correct?? Who'd have thought?..........Oh no wait! I said something disparaging about them before and got a lovely time for it. Scrub that comment :D

Cross 3-9 to 0-3 up at half time

Ft Nab 0-12 Cross 4-12. Aaron Kernan the best player on the field, great example for all. Ref performance was a bit erratic, gave Cross a penalty for a player being held in the square from 60 yards and a similar wrestle between Morgan and McParland resulted in a free out. In fairness Nab fought hard in the 2nd half but the game was over as a contest when nab gifted cross their 2nd goal.

Morgan is more of a wrestler than a footballer. Complete liability on the county scene.

I disagree. I think he is our best defender. I think he gets refereed to a different standard. Some of the fouls against him would not be given against other players

Couldn't agree with you based on what I observed last night, remember at county level the officials are in constant com.unication

He is potentially our best defender but far too gung-ho and he gives the referees very little option in my opinion.

Good win for us today against Cullyhanna. They didn’t have Casey or McQuillan but we were missing Conor o neill who’d be our top forward. Encouraging start!

Good win for ourselves in Dromintee. We played into a pretty stiff breeze in the first half and led 3-2 at half time, despite dominating the play. In the second half we stretched our lead, thanks in the main to a Conor Murphy goal. We led 1-7 to 0-3 but let them back in late on to only win by 4 points in the end up, 1-7 to 0-6.

Winning down there is far from a familiar experience, so good to get the victory but in truth we should have had the match sewn up by the three quarter mark but were let down by some terrible shooting.

He’s a combative defender. Just goes a bit over the line sometimes, but he does get wired in. I always enjoy watching Morgan’s duels.

Hang on, didn’t they sponsor us once?
