The game might have been tight but the quality in the first half and from middle of second half was brutal. Extra time and only only two scores????? Neither Donegal nor Tyrone will have worried by what they saw today. In fact I'd imagine they'd be happy to play the pick of both teams. Now that statement should maybe be qualified by saying it might be the fact that I had a heat attack and didn't recover until about 10 minutes ago. Why can't we just push on? I'm never critical of the lads, but jesus that lateral football, working up to the opposition 21 and then ending back with our keeper and then friggin loosing possession. Holy good lord, what the hell was that all about.

And breathe. Ok. Back to normal! Bloody great game folks!!

Poor game, both teams playing same defensive system meant they cancelled each other out. Must be souls destroying for forwards. Burns was our best player again. I do t understand why we did go man for man on their kick outs, conceded possession all day long, Cavan forced us to kick long and dominated mf in second half

Out of the 6 ulster championship games mcgeeney has managed he has won 1. A manager with a 17% win ratio in gealic football just isn’t good enough. The stats don’t lie.

Here, just on a technical note and a point of "discussion" on the way home. Did the ref blow the game early or was that just my imagination. We're convinced he saved us!

He did the right thing. Both teams were knackered. And it would’ve been unfair for any team to lose that.
