Sure need something to get them softies from the North out playing for the county .
Joking aside, Portadown isn’t ideal for someone coming the whole way from Cross or Dromintee etc but at the end of the day we’re Armagh not Cork the county ain’t that big, its doable. Good to see this being implemented.
Will there be adequate facilities to host club championship/McKenna cup games and such like?
annoying the hell out of you, what gives you that ideaNo.
Just happy that its annoying the hell out of you....
Would hope so. There are 2 large car parks within 5 minutes walk of the sight, at Drumcree High School and St John's Church at the top of the G Road. Think there is a stand being built in the complex.
don't think it will be used for club and county games more like college games, clubs training and other stuff plus Davitt park still hosts championship games hope it doesn't host any Grange games tho never win there lolSounds good. The north of the county needs a venue capable of holding county games and big club championship games. Because it don’t look like Davitt is going to.
All the other centres of excellence host some county and club championship games. No reason why this would be different.don't think it will be used for club and county games more like college games, clubs training and other stuff plus Davitt park still hosts championship games hope it doesn't host any Grange games tho never win there lol
not at senior levelAll the other centres of excellence host some county and club championship games. No reason why this would be different.
It certainly looks like there'll be a stand on at least one of the fields.
What you mean they don't play senior Hurling and Football at Owenbeg? That'll be a disappointment to the people of Derry who travel there for games.not at senior level
I think you'll get my drifterWhat you mean they don't play senior Hurling and Football at Owenbeg? That'll be a disappointment to the people of Derry who travel there for games.
You mean they don't host Senior football and Hurling games at Darver. That'll be a disappointment to the people of Louth who travel there for games.
True Garvaghey don't host senior county games as far as I know.
Ballykinler isn't built yet.
Cloghan (and Inniskeen) has hosted McKenna cup games, so that'll be a disappointment to the people of Monaghan who travel there for games.
I think you'll get my drifter so you will!
Does garvaghy hold games? All the other centres of excellence host some county and club championship games. No reason why this would be different.
