Fantastic achievement for both players. Considering that this was both their first seasons, it's amazing how well they played. I was surprised when Jarly started against Down in the Championship, as we hadn't seen too much of him in the league (one or two starts I think, a couple of run outs from the bench), but his performances were first class. Here are two players that we can definitely build a team around, along with Grimley, Forker and a few other names (and we'll need them, because after being at the All Ireland yesterday, the level that those two teams are at in terms of conditioning, ability and tactical awareness is frightening!)

Moynagh, McKiernan and McVeety all had to be considered. On our own county Forker had to be close. But certainly for me Paul Hughes was Mr Consistent. Armagh's player of the year. 5 games 5 quality performances. I think he is the only player we can say that about.
