Chat is always about what players in the various championships are looking likely for county call ups or are at that standard. In Mc Kenna we are blessed with possibly one of the best forward in the county. Pity he was treated so badly last time around. He is a joy to watch. A real scoring forward with plenty of graft and guts to go with the skills.

He’s alright. Goes down far too handy. More impressed with Tones full forward. Serious left foot on him.

I agree with your first part (He's alright), He is by no means a super star and he is playing at intermediate level. However there are worse players in the panel so he should be at least given another chance. The tones scored most of their points from frees (which that young lad converted) But this doesn't make him county standard. I know one guy who definitely should be nowhere near the county panel and that is Ethan Rafferty. Absolutely no pace and looks very ordinary at the minute. Was that his brother came on and scored the goal?

Didn’t say he was county standard but said I was impressed with him. Both of them worth a look at as options for the county but wouldn’t be near my top 6 forwards in the county

Sure if we are up for calling in the CCC Few of you lads just gonna gloss over the clans no 9 throwing a punch in to the stomach of the Grange wing forward ? Linesman clearly seen it then bottled it . Horses for courses lads . Good hard game .

The linesmen were 'miked up' with the referee as far as I know and there was discussion between them about what had happened. We cannot say with any certainty that the linesman bottled it. I would say that from my vantage point, there were players sailing close to the 'red card wind' all over the pitch.
