Ulster Senior Football Championship 2020

Not the worst draw, but away again!

No definitely not, the away trips are getting a bit crazy. Last one being in 2015 v Donegal, we must be the only team that hasn't had a home Ulster tie in 5 years (and counting now).

Derry seem to have fallen greatly in last number of years but should still be a threat.

Suppose draw looks favourable now, come May though they could look like the favourites (like us with Down in 2017).

Hopefully we can get through and the carrot of taking on Donegal or Tyrone.

After they way we beat Monaghan last year in Clones, should have beat Cavan first time round and gave Mayo a game.

Shouldn't fear anything but a long time between now and then.

Any other words on returners or new members of the panel?

Charlie, Donaghy, Clarke returning?

This is a tough draw. Gallagher just in with Derry who had bottomed out and will now start to rise again. He will set them up defensively in a structure we find hard to break down, Derry also have better quality players to transition from defence to attack than Fermanagh had. By the time we play them I expect them to be promoted to Division 2 again. So this is very interesting. Tough, winnable and also a potential banana skin.

Gallagher will have them set up with 100 men behind the ball, game probably finish 7-6. Will be a dog fight.

Horrible draw...away, far away, to a ground where there is no life and no atmosphere against a team that is now managed by the Black death of football - Rory Gallagher...A brutal game in store. Whatever the outcome I think this will be one to forget.

lets talk about what players you would want to get a county call up after this years championship..(nearly over so may as well get the ball rolling)

Conor McGivern - Ballymacnab
Micael McKenna - Grange
Cathal McKenna - Grange
Conor McNally - Derrynoose

These lads have all impressed me, anyone else?

Although I have only seen him against Ballymacnab I thought Liam Doyle has a right kick on him but dont think he is a complete player.
