Donegal CB:

In the event of a draw after normal time tonight in the Michael Murphy Sports Senior final replay between Gaoth Dobhair and Naomh Conaill tonight, extra time of ten minutes each way will be played. If the teams are still level the game will go to a third replay. The game will not be decided by a penalty shoot-out as both teams are not in favour of the game ending that way.

Glad to hear it.

Surely won’t end up another draw. Glad it won’t go to penalties though.

it finished 8-7 to the Glenties,Crossmaglen favourites for ulster now
Castlerahan and kilcoo will have a say.
Cross will be under pressure this Saturday from McManus. The nab exploited Cross at the back and it wasnt until Cross took control of midfield did they become more comfortable and pull away and perhaps should have won by more.
Teams left are probably pretty even

Sorry, but that’s a load of crap. If the rules say penalties then penalties it should be regardless of what the clubs think. Imagine Liverpool and Arsenal last night said nah, we are not in favour of penalties. What would have happened?

Well, those soccer ball boyos are used to deciding on penalties. What’s wrong with a replay?

Not sure how the clubs can overrule the CB, but glad they weren’t going to happen.

I’d say there are other clubs in Donegal not in favour of penalties, so they should tell the CB at the annual meeting, to stick their penalties up their... Arsenal and Liverpool, good game though! ;)

There already was 2 replays. People keep banging on about player welfare yet they wanted another game? Can’t have it both ways. They entered the competition knowing the rules, assuming the rule was penalties, and if necessary they should have played by the rules.
