Should give priority to people who bought a season ticket for the small number allowed
Id say we could be looking at no fans in at all and backroom teams socially distant and limited in stands. Glad its going ahead though. Will make the dark nights easier to bear with a few games to look forward to

Would have much preferred the Clare game to be on TV but realistically by the time these matches roll round they may all be behind closed doors if they get played at all.

With different regulations north and south, and even county by county, the head honchos from each government would not want fans crossing that invisible border.

They may play behind closed doors, or no away fans allowed (not sure how you’d police that though).

A statement from Armagh GAA, “Following a recent outbreak in a local club, Armagh Senior Football team has a number of confirmed positive results for COVID-19. We are strictly following the GAA and public health advice and as a precautionary measure we have postponed collective training. “These are difficult times for our communities and Armagh GAA urge all members to follow the public health guidelines.”

Well if they isolate two weeks including today they will be ok to play two weeks tomorrow. So it could go ahead. Would not be ideal though
I note some bollix on twitter saying pull everything now
He's been very negative to Armagh for quite sometime

There are going to be cases everywhere - look at the substantial rise in numbers today.
We have to live with it now and perhaps rather than look at case numbers we should be looking at hospital and icu admissions figures

Or perhaps we should look at the amount of people who clearly aren’t following Covid guidelines?
People following can get it. If someone has it but doesn’t know, they aren’t showing any symptoms they will be going on with their lives and potentially affecting others

If Forkhill players trained then it's likely spread to others in squad. The 3 of them could have spread to many not saying they had it of course as that's their own private business. Just hope we look after the players and families and don't take stupid risks. The GAA need to make the call.

The call has been made. Collective training has ceased. Everyone that's been in close contact will have to be tested. If negative they'll isolate for 14 days and be retested. That's the procedure which, I'm sure team management are well aware of at this stage. Hopefully everyone does ok and moves on. I know that no-one from the Lurgan outbreak have any lasting issues nor major symptoms, so let's hope that trend continues.

As for calling everything off, I can guarantee almost all of those saying this are not vulnerable, in a safe job with safe income or on benefits. I'm in the lucky category of little business interruption, although income greatly reduced. I'd like the vulnerable protected. Never changed since this started. But I still don't see why the 96.4% should stop because of the 3.29%. In case you missed it from before, I'm in the very high risk 1% so do have a vested interest, but what's the point in living if you don't have a life? (boy is google good for a quote!!)
Work to ensure their safety, absolutely, but think how you're gonna survive if or when the wages and benefits stop completely. That's potentially what you're asking for.
