I would argue that giving the amount of county and provincial titles CE have won at underage level and the fact they are still in 1B would be considered under achieving. They haven't kicked on.

CE should have beat that maghery side. Seems to be every year people hype this team up only for them to under achieve. They're really struggling to bring the success from underage through to senior level. Maghery missing a few keys players and somehow managed to get over the line.

As a complete neutral, the ref has had a complete nightmare in the clanns shanes game. Some unbelievable calls for both sides. Clanns subs at ht made the difference. Shanes lost the run of themselves halfway through the second half and never recovered.

Took in the Madden C/E game. Madden were very impressive. They looked far fitter, breaking in numbers at every oppurtunity, and they were very organised. We will struggle to see a better goal scored this year with madden breaking down a C/E attack and having the ball in the net in under...

If this is true and the ref heard what was said i'd like to see an example made out of the player involved with a lengthly ban. There should be no room in our games for this kind of stuff. Its disgusting and can't be defended. Fellas are there to play the game not listen to this sort of thing.

I was at the game, as a neutral, and it looked to me that something was said. Speaking to others who were closer this seems to be the case. There's not a chance the game was abandoned for the pushing that went on. Anyway roll on the championship game, hopefully both teams can redeem themselves...

Obviously we don't know what has been said but if a ref feels the need to walk off the pitch it must have been serious. A lot of people on the thread above are givng the ref some abuse without knowing what occured. I don't see any benefit from the refs point of view for not finishing the game...

The referee seems to be getting a lot of stick for blowing up the game early on Sunday. Surely more attention has to be on the players involved in the incident. Whatever was said must have been well below the belt for the ref to walk off. The games abandoned should also be voided with zero...
