Good point - I think the 4 you mentioned find it tough to play a full game (Grugan is probably the least affected). The likes of Duffy, Nugent, TK etc have had very little game time in the league - the older boys could have been rested more

Easy win today as Fermanagh were very poor although we dominated right from the start. Game was over after 20 mins so no surprise the level of performance fell off considerably. A few disappointing things today- Blaine was caught out on that cross ball when they should have scored a goal...

Grugan was good - as was Paddy Burns and McElroy, but I thought Mackin was outstanding. Half back suits him much better.

No way Ethan should start. Hughes has been very good and should walk if Ethan was even considered- Ethan is no way near match fit or match ready.

Will Rafferty replace Blainne, who has been excellent? Will Morgan play again? Cumiskey seems to have left, and O'Hanlon not near first 15. So we basically have very near our full squad available

Mackin is a work horse - probably deserves a half back spot. How about Jarly og and Rian for midfield?

Who wasn't available for us today? Maybe Conor O'Neil, Grimley. Any others who would push for a place on the first 15? I think we had nearly everyone we want togged out today and available to play.

Lots of reactions- and over reactions above. In my view, "winning" the Division 2 title doesn't matter at all. But as it was clear that the team really went for it in the last 10 minutes, but were not able to get the win, that is concerning. is it a psychological barrier - or are we just not...

Donegal short 6 or 7 of their first choice team. Challenge match feel to this game

Not surprised at all - already promoted and a cup for division 2 means little. I suspect Geezer feels the same. Tomorrow will he like a challenge match, no real significance. I hope we use it to get boys who need it game time - Rian, Nugent, TK etc.

For comparison purposes - Derry have their first choice 15 playing against Mayo. Interesting to see how they play and how they get on.
