Is 2.5 the figure without the grants?
Who knows the figure really.
With Brexit, a looming recession in the north, euro parity in a few months the cost you'd have to imagine would change.
Thats a huge project, not like doing up a single pitch etc...
Its a very necessary project for Armagh especially if this bullshit tiered championship comes in

I dont think 2.5 million is overly excessive. Especially with the rise in ladies football its getting crazy trying to fit all teams in to reasonable time slots unless you have facilities like St Pauls. I'd like to think the costs will be kept very reasonable for the hiring of pitches and the money will be raised up front rather than via loans etc. Theres bound to be some millionaire mechanic lying up in a caravan just wondering who could be doing with that money wouldnt you think

How come there’s two projects on the go?

Could there not have been a joint project built to cater for both men and women’s football?

Is it a county team/squads facility or one for clubs to hire and access?

Does anyone know if other county training facilities are open for hiring out?

Yes I think that’s right, but there was talk lately of incorporating the Ladies game under the GAA umbrella.

Doesn’t make sense really not to include it, when the ladies play the same sport, and use GAA pitches!

It’s mad, Ted.
I understand that its more than likely camogie would join than.the ladies football.

NO issue with it going in Portadown, but surely from a logistical point of view the middle of the county would be better?
