The goal in the first match, scored by Shane O'Neills, was huge in the context of the game. They wouldn't have won it without that green flag. Tones will no doubt be kicking themselves that they lost that. They had opportunities but wasted them, particularly a goal chance that was well saved by the keeper. The shot that come off the cross-bar was a great effort but was also an easy opportunity for a point, when there was still time to take points to level. One that got away.

The second match was equally close and very exciting towards the end. Grange went down to 14 men in the second half but never lost heart. Clans on the other hand seemed to lost their way. Grange scored a late goal to take the lead but when Soup scored a brilliant goal in reply, it looked up for Grange. However they never gave up and despite being a man down they came back to win it with a breakaway point.

Have to say the match really threatened to boil over late on, with the tension spreading to the crowd in the stand where I was, with tempers really fraying.

knew Grange would win. came through a tough quarter final and left everything on the line in that game, when it came to the melting pot they had more in the tank.

As for the comment about the tones shot that hit the bar in the first game and went over the line? nonsense...not one player or supporter in the athletic grounds protested so you are talking absolute rubbish. take defeat and come back next year.

Was the Grange full back not a black card?

First off congratulations to grange, eventually won out in a tense battle and one I’m still scratching my head as to how our lads didn’t push on when 4 points up. ultimately too many mistakes in the first half especially gifted grange scores which a team with their quality up front will always punish. Regards the grange number 3, a blatant punch and a red card offence on our full forward. How the linesman missed/ignored it and told the ref to give a black card is baffling but not unsurprising. Would expect the grange to win the final with a few to spare, if they keep their discipline

Sure if we are up for calling in the CCC Few of you lads just gonna gloss over the clans no 9 throwing a punch in to the stomach of the Grange wing forward ? Linesman clearly seen it then bottled it . Horses for courses lads . Good hard game .

seen that too. If the ref didn't see and the lineman was afraid of getting abuse for getting someone sent off in a championship semi final I would leave it and move on.

He deserved to go as well as did the grange forward for kicking him in retaliation

should have been a red, he struck number 14 infront of the linesman. Black carded for an alleged drag down when he infact dropped the man. could the CCC look at this if caught on armagh tv?
Would be justice then as clans definitely should have have lost a man for striking Grange no 5. Linesman saw it and pointed but did nothing.

What a hectic game, found myself cheering on the grange as the game neared the end showed great character to come back from 4 points down and come back again after soupys goal which had looked like a knock out blow at the time!! Grange seemed to just have that wee bit more in the legs and that got them over the line!!

What happens if Grange win and jump two divisions to 1A? What happens to Keady or the second place in 2A? This may have been asked on here before now.

Heard the Tones shot that hit the bar near the end was a foot over the line when it bounced off the ground.
Was talking to the cameraman this morning at the shop and he said it didn't cross the line as far as he can make out and he's a Tone's man.
