Or I could just enter the ground after the first match has ended :p
Yeah there is that but ye know how easy I am confused - easy @ragingbull it's not just you that gets confused :D!!

Ya see you said you wanted to "see that one too" which I thought meant as well as the first one! Now if you enter after the first is over you had to enter before the first one starts, leave and then re-enter.....I think. Either that or peep over the wall like @niall1980 does (now maybe he doesn't but I had to pick someone and I thought he'd be a good target being a great lurgan man and a sense of humour - no point picking picking someone like Billy King @William Of Orange cause he's no sense of anything never mind humour!)

I think you're right with the balance thing and as for how many are aware of it, sure it's talked about all over the island. It's fair to say we all think it's a great service and are not knocking it or the people involved in any small way, more just the seeming greed that the county board have brought to it. That "balance" would suggest that £10 is ridiculous. £5 is a great compromise and like @M18 says it started out only a few years back at a pound or two. It's been a rapid rise to the current level, double what it was last year and that's a pity as much as anything.

As for costs to run, my best guess is very little. I base that on their claims of thanks to the volunteers involved (that's not being derogatory by the way, just stating fact) so no wages. I know the guy that does all the camerawork as he's from round here - the real homeland and not the virtual one for the sweep. He provides all or most of the expensive equipment used including the cameras at no cost. I imagine with the cost of internet these days that that bit isn't expensive either and I'd suppose that the ground has a good provider. I have to say though @M18 I enjoy a very good quality picture. I have a really good internet speed here and am able to put it onto a large screen to enjoy. These new black and white portable 15" tvs are great.

The only reason I ask is that there are people in and around Armagh and over here in England that I know don't have a clue about it. Granted, I don't speak for the whole Armagh GAA community but since genuinely don't have a clue.

I have watched one game on Armagh TV and that was a few years ago. Since then I haven't really had the chance to even follow club football. However, rather than charge X amount I would be happy to pay a monthly/yearly subscription fee. It would be fun to see a weekly/monthly podcast talking about club and county football and hurling at all levels.

Hmm you have a point there. Should have said “as well” instead of “too”. Or are they the same?

Anyway, I’m not paying twice! I was hoping to avoid paying even once. Might try the top of the cathedral steps with the binoculars again.

Yeah I get that. I guess it's one of those things were you only find out about it if you need it. And I suppose because we are all on here or go to games we tend to hear about it.

That's it in a nutshell. I'd love a one off payment too. So much handier.

I'm actually surprised they don't do a podcast or that type of show. Maybe availability of people???

I think it would be a good idea for any wannabe radio hosts/comedians/comediennes that want to build up a profile. If the podcast worked out it could potentially go nationwide and beyond.

Jesus Christ there’s more chatted on here about entrance fees and price of online that actual football....it’s like a bloody knitting circle!

Ballymacnab have a nice easy bye to the final. Should set them up nicely. Out game against the league champions will be a tough one. With one trophy in their cabinet they will be confident of striding forward to do the double. That’s no mean feat and not often done but as slight favourites for Saturday they will maintain their push for it and make the final

I think there will be a lot of neutrals wanting to attend the double header, with Cross Maghery game of bigger interest to neutrals. Maybe some feel it’s a bit costly (which I think it is), hence the talk (can’t believe I used the word ‘hence’).

The fans of the teams involved, while maybe thinking the same, will gladly pay it if it meant their team wins.
