my own tuppence worth is that we seem to have a settled forward line and indeed midfield but we are all over the place with defence and indeed tactics.
up front Rian, soupy, grugan, and jarly og seem to be starters with Duffy,Nugent, Clarke and Turbitt pushing for the other two, although for me Clarke should be starting.
the issues flow from defence and the constant chopping and changing.
for me Hughes, Morgan, Mc Kay, Forker and Donaghy are starters , and i like the cut of cumisky. Shields always scores but as a defender can be somewhat loose and i believe is better suited to coming on when the game is a little stretched as he is powerful running at defenders.

For whatever reason we have seen players play well one week and dropped the next week( this is where the problem lies) .
kickout strategy is also poor whenever we have Grimley who is fielding out of his skin and we also have Oisin and Burns out the middle yet we persist in 20 yard passing which allow the other team to set up defensively.
all in all we actually are the strongest team in the division but genuinely if we lose on sunday( which i actually don`t think will happen) then we are in a relegation battle.
Was Cumiskey injured at the weekend?

What is your expectation for the team? In the last 5 years with a young group of players did you expect to be winning Ulster titles against Tyrone, Donegal and Monaghan? Tyrone been 2 all ireland finals, Donegal most successful time ever.. "You ‘build’ teams by winning, this should not mean losing games in the mean time... One of the most ridiculous statements i think you want a bite from this. We are in a position i believe we should be in top 12 in Ireland. Super 8's should be a target for this year. With a bit of luck it will be achieved. If we get promotion, Ulster semi final and Super 8's it would be an unbelievable season.
To be fair, and I by no means agree with the previous post - In the Ulster championship under geezer we've lost heavily to Donegal in geezers first year, it was an embarrassment in all truth. Then we've been eliminated by down, Fermanagh twice and Cavan so the Donegal/Tyrone/Monaghan debate doesn't hold much weight because we haven't even got to them. Only my opinion of course and I appreciate we beat a fairly lukewarm Monaghan on the quals last year

In my post numbered 953 what I was suggesting was that the status quo does not appear to be working and that a fresh approach might improve the teams performance. A fresh pair of eyes can sometimes offer a constructive opinion on a problem, with the approval and co-operation of the team management and by using modern technology tapes of Armagh's games could be analysed. The services of someone of the calibre of Tomas O'Shea could be availed of for the task, I think something along these lines could help.

Le meas,

Got the same email myself when I queried this last weekend. No one else got back to me but I see when I log in that my attendance has now been recorded.

Very disappointing that Jarlath Burns won't be the next President of the GAA

Very few get elected the first time they stand for election. He'll be in a strong position if he decides to run again.
Larry McCarthy will certainly bring a different perspective to the roll and also think he'll manage the GPA with a firmer hand as he has been very critical of their trips to NY to collect the $$$$ !!!

Jarleth lost on the transfers - does not mean they wanted the other guy - it was a vote against Jarleth - keep the wee Nordie out!

Wouldn’t think it’s as simple as that. They did take in a man currently working in New York after all. Some of Jarleths policy’s like limiting county players to training twice a week didn’t sit well with everyone. The PR system is the best in my opinion it’s most representative. I’m sure he’ll be back in 3 years to give it another rattle.
