He looked sharp at the weekend there but will he cut it against Armagh on Sunday

Look at you, doing puns!

Just wondering earlier when I was pondering the meaning of life and putting the theory of relativity to a full commission, has a single GAA Championship game ever been played behind closed doors or without spectators, let alone an entire championship? - I mean by design rather than no one simply turning up like the game Linfield played against Wexford in 1523!

Just asking lak so I am!!

The only thing I can think of is when they brought the Railway Cup to Paris, Minsk or Addis Ababa or wherever it was. How many spectators were at those?

I think we will see very few changes from the Clare game.

Sheridan could have played himself in, played well on Saturday and will use the ball well and break lines which is crucial against a Gallagher team.

James Morgan and Paddy Burn's form is a big concern especially with the danger McGuigan will pose but Geezer trusts them and can't see him dropping them. Maybe Forker on McGuigan is something we could see.

Can't see Turbitt starting either. A championship debut for a young lad being double marked and with three sweepers in front wouldnt do him any good - think of our own Ciaron Ohanlon's debut in Cavan in 2013.

Has Ciaron any interest in returning to the Armagh set up? Still young enough and plenty of talent - would be great to see him back in 2021.

Not sure to be honest, he didn't actually play a lot of football this year due to an injury or two and maybe not getting himself fully match fit. Came off injured against Grange in first round, lasted ten minutes in the quarter final against harps then was brilliant against Cross in the semi. I'd say we haven't seen the last of him in an orange jersey though

He is a superb talent alright and would be a huge addition if he commits next year. As would ciaran Higgins

Any score predictions for Sunday?

Strangely, I had a dream the other night we won 1-10 to 0-10. So I’m going to go with that.
Never keen on doing that Padraig as I almost always get it wrong. The only time I do it hoping it is wrong is when I try to use reverse psychology and then I forget which is which, like now, so I just give up and wait for the final whistle after extra time and then the penalties. Oh did I not mention we'll go to penalties????

My team for Sunday!

Hughes
Burns Kennedy Morgan
Forker Donaghy C O'Neill
Grimley Sheridan
Grugan O O'Neill Soupy
Clarke R O'Neill Turbitt

I'm assuming Cumiskey is injured. Between Shields and Donaghy for his position. J Burns, Duffy, Hall, P Hughes are all subs with plenty of experience.

If the Backs can be more disciplined and stop giving away scoreable frees, I can't see Derry out scoring Armagh. From midfield up, Armagh have serious quality! Need to be smart playing against the blanket defence!

I'd imagine we will line out something like

Hughes
Burns Morgan Kennedy
O'Neill comiskey shields forker
Grimley O'Neill Sheridan
O'Neill grugan campbell
Clarke

I'm assuming Donaghy isn't available and burns, McCabe and turbitt will come off the bench.

Derry will be ultra defensive and will not commit too many forward which makes for a poor game of football.

Jamie came off the bench 10 years ago in celtic park to score a goal on his championship debut and I think he may well be due another this Sunday

I think this is very close to what we will see. Grugan and Soupy are two of our most important men on sunday. Grugan for his ball use and Soupy to break lines against a packed defence
