2020 County Hurling

They have just got their gear this week. Wouldn't happen the footballers but Armagh is a football county apparently.
I don't think there's anything apparent about it. We are a football county and that's a fact. Nothing derogatory in that whatsoever.
How many Hurling clubs v Football clubs?
How many available footballers v Hurlers?
Would it be said that Kilkenny are a football county?
However that doesn't mean that the Hurlers can be treated as second class citizens as they put in every bit as much effort. If they're only now receiving gear and the footballers already got theirs, then that's not fair. It's the same sponsor and supplier, so all should be ordered together.

Only twisting I know all that.
I heard that some gear was ordered and it arrived and it was wrong to what was ordered so they sent it all back. Simple admin error I believe.

Always loved the " I heard " line - it means I was there

Anyone know will there be anyway of streaming the Nicky Rackard game this weekend? Armagh TV hardly be allowed to do it?

Pity if they couldn't. It would be great if the Hurlers got some promotion. Doubtful any of the broadcasters will cover it, so why not!

Disappointing year overall, not getting promoted from the league and not making semi finals of the Rackard.
Didn't seem to learn anything from the league final defeat to Donegal, but fair play to them, deserved winners after a great performance yesterday in the final.

Wonder will the current management team stay in place for another year, or will a new set up be put in place.

Fab turnaround in the second half. 8 points down and turned on the style throwing everything at it to win by 6 (I think) in the end. Great auld game!

Is there anyone else waiting to give it a go with our lads? They seem to have a bit of potential if understrength compared with the last few years.

Huge boost for Derry hurlers with the appointment of Dominic McKinley and Cormac Donnelly over the senior team.

Be good to hear Armagh's plans for the up coming season, no doubt with the addition of Kieran Donaghy to the senior football backroom team, the same calibre of personal is being lined up for our hurlers ;)
