Weird and wonderful facts regarding Armagh football

The current run of inactivity for the senior football team is the longest gap in living memory (yeah I know it was April fools day the last time this thread was active, but I thought the pandemic would have had a bit more participation). Seems you guys HAVE something more important to do and CAN actually survive without football. Maybe it IS time to scrap the expensive pastime we call GAA!!!

The fact that there’s no GAA at all is the depressing thing. Had there been schools or camogie or anything, at least it would’ve been something. Hopefully we’ll see a return soon.

Until then, we have only got the fastest goal competition and the Prediction League (which I’m still waiting on you having a go at, by the way) ;)

Congas have been stopped, unless you have two 2 metres sticks with you. Shame though, it was my preferred mode of transport in the evenings.

(I know about all the training. It’s just the Garda read these pages looking for info. You won’t get us snitching though).

Oh here and by the way all those grounds I seen were all Garda training grounds, just in case the PSNI are reading these pages so nothing to see here. Move along (backtracking)

The 2010’s is the only decade in which Armagh didn’t win a football All-Star.
Ohhh that's a bit weird. Wonderful thing is Dublin didn't win an All Ireland title in the 2000's (their longest run ever without a title - last in 1995 and next in 2011) before building the team that started to become the success they are today. With Armagh's new injection of €190m this could be the future for us to look to!
