Glad to hear it big jim did you hear what score was or team they had out
Kinda. They played what we mortals would describe as an "A" team and a "B" team. A team were beaten by 1 point and B team won by 6. I think everyone got a run out which would be normal enough in a challenge game. Seems Stephen Sheridan is out for a few weeks because of a face injury and didn't play today. Jamar Hall picked up an injury, but no idea what or how serious, although seems he walked off the field after so maybe a precaution. Very positive feeling from the gentleman with the info, but wouldn't tell anything more even though I offered him 75p and half a Mars bar

Anyone have any team news? Has anyone else left the panel bar Jamie? Any injuries?
Looks like Stephen Sheridan and Jamar Hall will be out for a bit if the chatter around socials last night is correct and it kinda follows what I was told at the weekend. I also believe young McQuillan is showing promise and there are a few other new arrivals, but I couldn't get confirmation on who they are.

Those things aside, it's vital that we make a strong start this year. I'm told it's possible to lose all 3 games and win the play off and stay in div.1, but that would be a bad way to approach the championship and certainly not good prep. Many many times it's been said that it's hard to beat the momentum that winning brings. Cavan did great things last year with a bit of luck, self belief and a lot of determination.

Damn it's good to be talking about getting back to it again!

Oh I have so I have. SO much I've been watching cricket!

Cricket? What is happening to you, man?!

It’s not just the matches I’ve missed. It’s all the stuff that goes with the games; team news, the radio/TV interviews, newspaper reports, punditry, the banter with fellow Gaels, and the craic on here.

The GAA is part of who we are, and the games returning might literally be a lifesaver for some. That bit of hope on the horizon. Let’s not underestimate what the GAA means to some people.

So, regardless of how we do this season, it’s just so good to have it back.

Maybe the best post we've had on here for some time - well except the first bit of course!!

McGeeney interview in three news outlets today, all off of same session I believe. Best is on the RTE outlet. Very interesting stuff?

Spoke to Eir Sport earlier who said that us northerners cannot view their NFL coverage, directed to Premier Sports who said they were not covering games til next month. Is it the case that we will not be able to watch our team in our final two group games?

If it is the case that we cannot see games that our fellow gaels just a few miles away can enjoy, is there any truth in the rumour that Damian McCullough is planning to commentating on these games, whilst hanging from a drone above the centre field area of the Athletic Grounds. Knowing Damian, it seems credible!

Scandalous stuff
So much for a 32 County organisation
Hopefully the media will pick this up about the discrimination for the north
How the hell the those well paid officials in croke park allow this to happen?
