Armchair supporters have just as a right of a opinion just as much as a supporter that goes too games doesn't make them any lesser of a supporter does it
Hmmm so people that pay to go matches , spend there free time travelling around the country to try and support the team versus some lad sitting on their arse giving out in play watching the tv , I categorically say they are lesser supporters, but sure , everyone’s entitled to their opinion.

Some people mightnt be able to take a day off work or afford to travel to support the team.

I dont believe it makes them any less of a supporter.

Well I wasn't able to go to the match today due to other commitments.

I guess I am a lesser supporter. Apologies lads for being so.

Sure in Kerry they were rushing up to the Cliffords on the day their mother died. Some people are bollockses.

The highlights were there 5 minutes ago on the Saturday game. You'll still get it on RTE2+1 or on the RTÉ player.
The highlights looked better than the game.
Thanks for that. Tuned into rte2 now

Disappointing performance, looked a way off the pace at times. Nugent in particular but also thought soupy was anonymous in the 2nd half and grugan was chasing shadows. Heres hoping its a hangiver from 2 weeks ago.
Quite a few mistakes from kickouts. 2 over the sideline right in front of me that the players had no chance of reaching and another that was barly kept in. Then also the few at the end. When rian o neill was put into full forward in 2nd half he was making loads of runs and practically begging for the ball to be kicked in. If he is going to be played there then surely we need to kick quick ball into him to get the benifits?? Also thought we where far too slow to make changes throughout the game when clearly things wernt working. Really hope todays performance was a blip and will guve the lads a good wake up call because tyrone are there for the taking in omagh. Overall a disappointing day but 1 to definitely learn from and we also managed to close out a tight championship game while not playing well. Better things to come from this group as we move on and im somehow still optimistic about omagh next Saturday night.

Arguably the worst post of the year IMO. Put a little thought into your point and back it up with evidence please.
Surely I don't have to talk about those who have other commitments / ailments etc that make attendance impossible? All paying their hard earned money to watch the game via online streaming or following the tweets etc and feeling the same buzz as those in attendance. We're all armchair supporters - even those in the stands. Yes, there's the odd idiot on here - but you'll find many more in the stands - we've all witnessed them!! Bottom line - we all want the best for Armagh GAA - and no matter anyone's opinion on Geezer - he wants the best for the county and is definitely giving it his all.

Anyone brave enough the whole game is on YouTube. Only positive was the win, keeps their fate in their own hands now. Hope the man that took sick makes a recovery.

The goalkeepers union are out against Ethan again. Can anyone recall another goalkeeper being criticised for a ‘technical’ error? Almost as if he’s being singled out for some reason…

People can't afford to go to games all the time, some fans don't even live in the country, some can't get to games because of other commitments. The unfortunate thing about your pov is that it is shared by multiple people on here

When a team lies down to waste time when in the lead and then gets pipped at the post I have no sympathy for them. That’s my only criticism of Westmeath. Otherwise they were excellent. They deserved to win.

As for us. 3 key factors
Energy/fitness/pace was missing. I would love to know why. I’m not buying that it’s a physical reaction to a game 13 days earlier or a psychological response. Something was wrong there. Men standing off all over the park.
The wind. Clearly a factor. First half kickouts getting held up, Rian kicking off the ground, abandonment of the kicking game in the first half, wayward shooting. Westmeath had the advantage of it in the first half and set about running the clock down when playing against it and defending their lead.
Game management. You have to deal with the wind. Have a short kick out strategy for when needed. When you have the wind you have to use it but kicking earlier. When you are behind you can’t let a team take 3 minutes out of the clock by not engaging them.

Brutal performance. 2 points. Move on. The lads will be in a different headspace next Saturday. None of them will be the least bit happy with last night.

Very best wishes to the steward, their family and all the good people involved in their care.

Same as that. Iv missed kerry in killarney and today all year.
But when you get to set up your own thread your the no1 supporter. NOT

Some people on here I would have a lot of respect for on the forum , and have taken offence to my post which I think has been taken the wrong way . My point is that there’s a type who just sit at home and make no effort to support the team at all and I agree sure plenty of genuine reasons why people can’t go to games and people seem to be taking offence that weren’t at the game yesterday , I know Plenty of people can’t go to every game including myself who works weekends , however this is called an Armagh Supporters forum , the word ‘support’ is key , as a supporter of a team the main way of showing support is you should try and get to matches if you can ?

You are either very young or have a short memory. Every single goalkeeper has been criticised on this or other forums. Tierney, Hearty, McEvoy, right through to Hughes all faced criticism. The lad from Middletown was hounded off the panel in recent years ffs.

If any goalkeeper kicked so many kick outs away they’d be pulled on it so he can’t be above criticism because he “isn’t a goalkeeper”. That fact is if he is wearing number 1 means he is the goalkeeper and should be striving to be the very best in the country at the technical aspects of goalkeeping. A few solo runs up the field shouldnt paper the cracks, they should be in addition to being a sound keeper, not instead of.

The definition of forum is:
a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
"we hope these pages act as a forum for debate"
Some people will have views or ideas that dont match up with yours again doesn't make you right and them wrong or vise versa.

You said in your original post I categorically say they are lesser supporters, but sure , everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Think that is clear as day what you think
