Some shape starting to take place now, Currently we are looking at the following projections (assuming Dublin and Kerry win Leinster and Munster as expected )

I love torturing myself with this stuff so here we go ...

Pot 1 : Dublin and Kerry winners of Galway Mayo , Ulster winners

Pot 2 : Clare , Louth Or Kildare Winners Galway Mayo Losers , Ulster Runners up

Pot 3: Derry ,Losers Of Tyrone or Donegal, Roscommon, Armagh if beaten by Down , If we Beat Down then its Monaghan

Pot 4: Meath , Cavan , Cork , Monaghan if Armagh Lose against Down, if Armagh win then Louth go in regardless if they beat Kildare or not If Louth and Armagh win then Westmeath take the spot .

Anyone else need a lie down .....

Draw tomorrow on GAA.com massive advantage to win Ulster playing hardest opponents in pot 3 at home as well as avoiding Kerry and Dublin .

Truly believe this Ulster final is the biggest game this county has had in years. Both in terms of this team/management finally getting something to show for their efforts, developing that winning mentality and dropping that tag of losing big/tight games when it matters. Not only that but it would put us in pole position to top a group and get to an all ireland semi or beyond.

Group 4 - handy for Kerry

As for the rest tough tough setup
Especially if you're after being beaten in your provincial

Shouldn't be looking at doing the bare minimum. Beat every single team we come up against playing positive football and get out of our own heads. The last two Ulster finals and last 2 QFs have absolutely no influence over the rest of this season. The team must learn from it and do whatever it takes to rectify the problem.

No

Finishing 2nd or 3rd means you play 3rd or 2nd from another group to get through
Finish first is preferable
Yes but we still make it out of the group
OK we would go into a play off to make the last 8 but we would make it out of the group.

the original point i was replying to was that ''We aren't getting out off that group''

And agree with above, we should be aiming at winning the group but if we were to to finish 2nd or 3rd, the 2/3 in the other groups will probably be:
Mayo
Roscommon
Tyrone
Cork
Louth
Monaghan

I would give us a decent chance against any of those
