Corrinshego possibly making a big move this year? They gave Dorsey an awful thumping yesterday. Although Dorsey seem to be a team that has went into free fall in the last few year
Like playing 2 rounds of fixtures do you mean? Could drop the McKenna cup and provincials to accommodate that. I agree the league should be the most prestigious competition to win
And to continue that 100% they shouldn’t be allowed to take part in the championship. Clann Eireann barely even celebrated it. It’s totally destroying the aspect of what the junior championship is to clubs
Killeavy dropped multiple players down to the seconds team for championship.
The rule should be simple. Name 2 squads for each team and that’s it for the year. No hoping up and down teams. It’s totally unfair on smaller clubs who are actually junior
It’s also unfair that the seconds teams...
Is there any other county that allows second teams to play in their all county leagues? It’s becoming pretty farcical
I’d imagine a guess Dorsey & Lissummon aren’t best pleased having to stay in the higher grade after struggling last year. Especially Dorsey who recorded no wins
When we went 2 points up by pressing their kick out you just bloody knew they’d stop doing that and let them back in it.
Players done well to scrap for a win there but the instructions from the line look to be the same again this year. What’s the saying about keep trying the same thing and...
Just a shot in the dark here.
Is there anyone who would know where to direct me to get a full list of results in Armagh club football over the years? For league & championships?
I’m thinking surely Armagh has a record of these but I’ve had no luck in getting a response from them.
Thanks in...
Any chance of it being made public?
At least we know who we can point the fingers at next season when it’s all same old same old and another wasted year with this fine group of players
Very disappointing in how this was done. A lot of county delegates for clubs have been there years and are within the county click looking brownie points so no doubt went against their own clubs members who wanted a change in management and voted to keep him.
All that on top of the CB getting...
The players would’ve all heard all the stories going around about him for years, yet they still worshiped him.
I hate to say it but when it comes to the GAA there’s a lot of protection for the big names.
I expect him to be managing Corduff along with Banty to weed his way back into the...
Gutted along with everyone else here. I’m a long time critic on management but really feel we didn’t get the rub of the green yesterday.
Yes even during the first half we where scratching our heads wondering why he decided to surrender kick outs and some of the match ups where questionable...
In fairness the only bit of trouble I seen was from our own. Special branch was called in because of (yet again) the same particular group of Armagh fans fail to control themselves and have to overdo it. Pity on such a great day
Antrim really were disappointing. They played that match like a dead rubber McKenna cup game or something
With a players back after sitting out yesterday we should be capable of seeing off Cavan but then again it all depends on how we’re set up…
Absolutely infuriating performance once again.
McGeeney seems to have driven a mentality into these players that when they take a lead in a match it’s backs to the wall to try and defend it and forget about trying to score.
Who still defends him? We have a fantastic squad of players and...
