I applaud teams for setting up the way they do when they clearly have little or no chance of getting within an asses roar of their opponent. I think however the league levels this out and teams can try and open up more against similar opponents.
Deep defensive strategies are more of a symptom...
I understand your opinion but I don’t agree with it. Of course we didnt go out not to lose but look at the game, there wasn’t a hard hit anywhere and the intensity was non existent until the last12 minutes. Give him a little respect, he’s built a team of lads, the vast vast majority of which...
Sure maybe we should get relegated and go for the Tall Tin Cup!! Of course I would have loved to see us winning that today, who wouldn’t but if you genuinely think McGeeney is going to defined as a Div 2 Cup winner then I’ll have to disagree with you. No injuries, a 15 minute intense game, Rian...
Settle petals - we’re promoted and really never showed any hands there. No point in getting carried away in March. Good run out at Croke Park and no injuries I could see. Yea, it would have been good to lift a cup but move on to the bigger parish.
Folks - stop with the gulf between Div 1 and todays game. I was in Healy Park last night and Tyrone were awful first half, Mayo wee atrocious second half. Todays game was an arm wrestle and we had the chance to pull away at times and Donegal had the same. As I informed my divingmidget fiends...
Is it me or is Armagh TV commentary poor?! You’d swear you were in the pub listening to one of the lads talking to somebody who wasn’t listening. Maybe there was something wrong with the mic’s in the Cullyhanna Derrynoose game.
There are rumblings in the deep mountain passes of Donegal. The dark lord has emerged from many years in the wilderness and whispers of his return have taken flight.
If he can prise Croke Park’s Jack Cooney away from Westmeath, he’ll have a formidable team. Serious bucks needed and scouts...
Hhhhmmm….
So Geezer’s team had a good 2022 where we got beaten in the first round against Donegal and were put out on penalties against Galway.
But 2023 somehow was a poor year where we get to Ulster Final for the first time in 15 years, get beaten on penalties by the reigning champions? We...
Media will be all over it. The videos are already circulating but the clubs will be forced to ensure no one other than officials are standing inside the wire. Cookstown man that was umpiring was protecting the ref and got stabbed in the leg. Bad handlin. But they’ll go after the GAA.
