A few thoughts:-

* Delighted to be a Div 1 team again - well done to the players and management.
* We now have a decent squad with players available in every position which is great and should create healthy competition. As much as having a settled team is great so too is competition for places. Sheridan is a great example of this - he was excellent yesterday which is so pleasing but he hasn’t been at this level for a while due to recovering from injury and not being on top form - it happens to all players at all levels so let’s ensure selection is merited.
* No.1 - No.7 needs more work and perhaps our defensive displays need to start higher up the field but I feel the criticism of Blaine is getting too personal. I agree he has made mistakes but as others have highlighted show me a player that hasn’t. If we’ve got a better option then let him step forward and prove it, if not, we need to back Blaine and build protection around him.

See people have beat me to it but wow today has made it even more important that we are promoted this year
Next year will genuinely see 8 teams looking to get to Div 1 and anything else a disappointment

for us the important games are Ulster games and another crack at Roscommon! 3 wins the goal

important that we test ourselves against other Ulster teams
Think this will really improve our game for championship more than Dublin and Kerry (though can’t wait for those!)

4 Ulster teams in the top 8, Croke Park and RTE won’t like that.

Some great games to look forward to in division 1 next year.

To be honest I am delighted that Tyrone and Monaghan stayed up, hopefully both will be coming to the Athletic Grounds in 2021. Away trips to Dublin and Galway would be welcomed.

Not for me, we see Monaghan and them other bastards in the AG all the time for mckenna cup. I want to see Dean Rock and Davy Clifford in town!

I hate to burst your bubble but if spectators are allowed to attend matches in 2021 the likelyhood is Armagh will play Kerry away as the GAA will be trying to recoup as much money as they can next year & they know Armagh supporters will travel in numbers. Back in the early 2000s (sorry I can't remember the exact years) we had to travel to Kerry 2 years in a row to play them in the League.

I know in 2003 they beat us by 2 points down in Kerry, with a late goal that came from a blatant throw ball from one of the O’Se’s. Can’t recall the other match though.

I’d gladly walk to Kerry next year if it meant we were over this pandemic though!

We beat Kerry the last time we played them down there in Killarney the last year we were in Div 1 , it was a Saturday night , big Kingham a POR favourite got a goal I remember .

Yes, that’s right. Brian Mallon I think got the other goal. A good performance that night.

That was a great weekend in the Kingdom. Weather was glorious for February.

Also worth noting as the Armagh TV guy would say big Mackin , big Veron and Big Lavery also played that day

Think we played them in AG and Gareth Swift scored a few lovely points in the first half then they went away from us. Played them the following year in HQ and got tanked in the first half

Yeah we weren’t far away that night. Charles V got a cracking goal. Brogan got a late fisted goal to pull away from us.

It was a long journey home when we played them in 2012. I think it might have been that big defeat that relegated us on scoring difference that year.
