2020 league

I presume they’re thinking ahead and, concerned that a possible second wave of Coronavirus may limit the actual number of games played, have decided to get the championship completed.

They can then start the league, which I think is no promotion/no relegation in Antrim and just play games until either the league is complete or has to shut down due to a second wave.

Best case scenario they get both league and championship played out, however they have ensured that a second wave, should it come will have minimal affect particularly on next year.
Yeah I guess, but I just find it interesting that they expect players to go straight to the intensity of championship without even a shakedown league game first.

No spectators at club matches for the time being, absolute joke!
It just proves how clever this bug actually is.

It won't attack you in a pub serving food, but will if no food is served.
It will attack kids in schools, but won't "really" harm them, but will harm people at home.
It won't attack you on a plane, train or bus as long as you wear a mask, but will if you go in a swimming pool.
It will attack you if you meet relatives in larger groups indoors, but won't if you are outdoors.
It won't attack you on a field if you're in close contact with others playing a game, but will if you are on the terraces.

Who'd have thought the Chinese would be so cleaver when they designed this android robot from Pluto, just past Uranus!!

You’ve got it all worked out, Jim.

They’ll be onto you now, so they will. I hear a van revving in the distance...

Can’t see any clubs bothering to enforce that daft rule
No choice its what has to be done
Complacency is setting in and if we are not careful areas will be closed down in some form
The pubs are a huge problem and if they don't put in place and enforce the guidelines they should shut the door and/or lose their license.
Unfortunately since Cummings and other events recently where a severe lack of real leadership were missing people, especially Irish people, will push and push to do their own thing
We all suffered enough for ten weeks or so, if we experience the ten weeks again it will not be pretty
Wise up, stay at home

They will enforce it. But take Clann Eireann for example. What’s to stop people standing outside the fence and watching? CE or GAA officials can’t stop that

No, but you just have to hope if they do watch outside the fence that they’ll do so sensibly.

At least staying outside the fence gives less trouble and less risk for stewards/officials etc. Doesn’t make it right though.

Plenty of room to for social distancing at most of our Gaa pitches . Just my opinion

Yes, there is. But will people distribute themselves around or will they gather in their usual spot around the middle of the pitch?

The Danish soccer cup final had to be stopped because the supporters all gathered in a heap, despite having been allocated different parts of the stadium. In that case they had to throw dozens out.

Now you would hope that GAA supporters wouldn't be as thick, but I wouldn't bet on it.
When attendance is allowed there needs to be tickets issued with zones or the like. For contact tracing these need to be issued to known persons e.g. membership number, and if anyone decides to take their location in the ground into their own hands then that should be the end of them getting tickets from then on.
