It should have happened a while ago.
Numbers attending games are going to be low because of the actions of others i.e. House parties, bars illegally operating, bars not ensuring social distancing is maintained
How the f#£&in bejaysus are schools with 100s of pupils going to open in three weeks and yet only a few hundred can attend an outdoor event
Madness

Shields hasn't been playing for Whitecross because of his job (I think) so I wonder if he'll not be playing for Armagh vs Derry

Heard they're isolating already in a hotel to create their own bubble. The concierge is standing at the top of the mall telling anyone who wants to listen

The GAA has confirmed that the 2020 All-Ireland football and hurling championships will go ahead after receiving assurances of government financial support.

The association had estimated that running the inter-county games in both codes at senior, U20 and minor level would cost in the region of €20m and said it had to consult with government before making a final decision.

In June, then Minister for Sport Shane Ross said that up to €40m total would be provided to the GAA, FAI and IRFU - if needed to ensure their "solvency and continued existence" as the coronavirus pandemic brought all sportign activity to a halt.

In a statement, the GAA said its management committee had decided the championships would go ahead "following positive interaction with the Government and an understanding that specific financial supports will be made available".

London, Warwickshire and Lancashire will not be involved in the 2020 championships, meaning Roscommon will receive a bye into the Connacht SFC semi-finals.

This year's All-Ireland SFC begins on 31 October and will be a straight knockout competition. The hurling begins a week earlier and will feature a 'back door' qualifying system.

The statement added that "Due to the reduced level of funding available as a result of the pandemic, a series of strict financial controls will be put in place by the Association which will govern the costs and preparation of teams."

As RTÉ Sport revealed yesterday, this includes a limit on collective training sessions to three per week and a ban on training camps.

The GAA also said that the special emergency powers for the administration of the Association under the Covid-19 pandemic have been reapproved and extended until 4 December.

So now it looks like be games whats the odds of a ticket. Pissed off cancelled my season ticket on me and a raffle between those loyal supporters surely a better way of allocating the small number of tickets we get

The Roscommon game was going to be on TG4 back in March, perhaps they'll show it.
But the GAA should put all games on GAAGo if not covered live, those who cannot buy a ticket would be happy to pay to see the games., the TV package needs to be adjusted in the circumstances.
