@Rufus T Firefly I stayed to the end of Fermanagh in 1993. But spoke to a few others later that did leave before the end. They were gutted they left. Such a memorable last few minutes.

One thing I do remember was Houli missed an absolute sitter second half too. I can’t remember if it was before Hollywood’s first, but he blasted wide from a similar position as Grimley’s winner.

During the league a few seasons back. Can’t remember the opponents but Johnny Murtagh made a rare start, and shaped to shoot, but blasted it shockingly wide. Seeing it sail wide, I threw the head back in frustration, just as a woman behind leaned forward to put her head in her hands. We nearly knocked each other’s brains out! Luckily no done damage, and we both laugh had at did near miss to our.

As a young lad, was walking towards Croke Park for the drawn semi final against Roscommon in 1977. Much to my dads annoyance, a group of young Roscommon supporters, girls in their mid teens, were chanting loudly "We are Roscommon and we are the best, we are Roscommon so f**k all the rest."
Next thing, from around the corner comes a priest walking towards us. Without missing a beat , the girls immediately moved to "We are Roscommon and we are the best, we are Roscommon so down with the rest."
Superb improvisation!
