Another year for Geezer

I see oisin mcconville looks set to be the new Wicklow manager. The world has gone mad. What on earth does he see in Wicklow (other than a few pound)? I would like to have seen him involved in some way with armagh but perhaps he wasn't asked. But Wicklow? Monaghan look fairly desperate for a manager so could he not have got a management team (john McEntee?) pulled together for that? A bit less travel at least

Last season had some great moments but there were moments we all felt crushed and didn't think anything was going to happen.

Our defence isn't great but I would say it is a 100% improvement on previous seasons and will get better I hope.

IF we do not get to where we want to be next season im wary that if management go some players will follow and that would be catastrophic to the new management and team. I get players have bought in to Geezer's philosophy but there comes a time (before it is too late) that changes have to be made and I would hope players will stick around to develop under someone new should that happen.

McGeeney done enough last season to earn another year as manager. Next year is a year most of us won't accept anything less than improvements upon this year and that means making inroads in Ulster for one and maintaining D1 status.

Roscommon media outlets reporting thaylt Donaghy is to be appointed with Paul Galvin as his assistant.

If that's the case will be a big miss. Always showed great passion anytime I saw him. Feel he made a big impact on the attack and also the mentality within the entire squad

Kieran Donaghy will be staying in the Armagh dugout for the 2023 season Gaelic Life understands.

The Connaught Telegraph reported this evening that the Kerry legend was set to be named as the new Roscommon boss, with former Kingdom teammate Paul Galvin as part of his management team.

Gaelic Life has since learned that the four-time All-Ireland winner is set to stay with Armagh, who will face the Rossies in Division One next year.

Apparently it will be Rory Kavanagh ( as soon as St Eunans lose in the championship- most likely in the Ulster club championship)

A very good source tells me it's 100% Kieran Donaghy. He has James McCarten in as his #2 and Jim McGuinness is in as strategy analyst. Neil Lennon is forwards coach and Brian Kerr will be new PR assistant. RagingBull.......... sorry, my anonymous source this morning confirmed that no one at The Newsletter was available to comment as they were busy dealing with some major investigation for Jamie Bryson, but will carry the full story in 2031 after Linfield play in their 3rd All Ireland in a row. They believe they are cover for a poor Mayo team. The source also confirmed in a side note that Brian Cody has agreed to Manage The Grange in a 27 year deal, that will see the lads partake in football playing only with a Sliotar. (Errors and omissions excluded)

Well, you’re rarely wrong James, so I’d say that’s all true.
