The Armagh GAA Club Championships 2019 sponsored by Cormac Leonard Commercials Ltd were officially launched at the Athletic Grounds, on Monday 29 July.

Armagh GAA Chairperson Mickey Savage said, “We are delighted to launch the Armagh Club Championships for 2019. I also want to thank our Club Championship sponsor, Cormac Leonard who continues to support our flagship club competitions.

“On behalf of Armagh GAA, I wish all our football and hurling teams all the very best, to all our match officials and volunteers, as always, a lot of hard work and dedication has gone in to the preparation of the eagerly anticipated season which we are all looking forward to over the coming weeks and months ahead.

“One of the key highlights at the end of our championship season is our celebration event, Armagh All Star Awards Night which will take place on Saturday 23 November 2019 at the Canal Court Hotel, Newry – a fantastic event recognising the tremendous talent across our county.”

The Junior Football Championship gets underway this weekend with the first round of the group series. More information is available on this link for the Junior Groups and Fixtures.

The draw for the Intermediate Football Championship will take place on Friday 2 August at 9.15pm from An Port Mor, Blackwatertown. The draw for the Senior Football Championship will be held on Monday 5 August at approximately 8.30pm from the Athletic Grounds, Armagh. Both draws will be streamed LIVE by Linwoods Armagh TV on the Armagh GAA Facebook page.

The Cormac Leonard Commercials Armagh GAA Club Championships will feature over 50 Armagh Clubs competing for Senior/Intermediate/Junior Football titles and Senior/Junior Hurling titles with over 100 games being played. The Round Robin format, now in its second year with teams being ranked based on their final league position and with almost all teams guaranteed three championship fixtures.

Meanwhile the Hurling Final match ups have already been decided with Middletown Na Fianna playing Keady Lamh Dhearg in the Senior Final and Sean Treacy’s facing Cuchulainns in the Junior Final. These finals will be played on Saturday 10th August in the Athletic Grounds, Armagh.

Armagh Club Championship Season Pass is available to purchase from the County Board Office. This value for money pass costs £85 or €100 and covers all Football and Hurling Championship games up to and including the Championship Finals.
