New fundraising initiative to support your club and county
Armagh GAA Club Draw was launched last Thursday (27 September 2017) by club and county representatives.
Speaking at the launch, Paul McArdle (Armagh GAA County Chairman) said, “This is an exciting fundraising initiative which has tremendous benefits for all our clubs and county. For every ticket sold, £80 will go directly to the club after the minimum target has been reached, this offers a real opportunity for clubs to enhance their own fundraising.
“Fantastic prizes are on offer in the four monthly draws, with a brand new Renault Clio the top-prize each month, supplied by Donnelly Group.
“There are also a range of incentives for both patrons and clubs, including an Early Bird Special for those who pay for their ticket up front and every club will be guaranteed a winner!
Paul added, “Last month the county committee announced plans to develop a new County Training Facility which will enhance the current facilities at St. Malachy’s Hurling Club, Portadown.
“This new fundraising initiative will assist the financial development of the project which will provide a 20-acre facility for all our County teams and academy squads, including 3-full size floodlit grass pitches, spectator stand, ball wall and gym with adjoining changing rooms.
With over 70 prizes up for grabs in our four monthly draws this promises to be the draw of the season – so get your ticket quick!
The four monthly draws will take place in February, March, April and May 2018.
