Over 3,000 primary school children from across the county have painted self-portraits as part of the #OneTeam campaign organised by Armagh GAA.

Armagh Chairman Michael Savage said, “We are absolutely overwhelmed at the response to this initiative. When we invited schools to participate in the campaign we thought we would have limited spectators. Now we have over 3,000 children virtually here and more importantly who feel connected and part of the occasion – it really is tremendous in such uncertain times.

I want to thank our local schools for the part they have played in this community engagement initiative, and for the important part they play in our communities. Thanks to all our school teachers for taking time with our young people to talk about our games and to all the children who painted such stunning portraits and who are behind the team tonight in the Athletic Grounds.”
