Some poor refereeing decisions, but ultimately, we just didn’t do enough in that second half.

Disappointing for the girls. We really missed Aimee Mackin today.

Thought that was a clear penalty! Girls didn't perform their best - Mackin a big miss. Kerry seemed hungrier for the win and look strong. Hard luck Armagh.

What a year for the ladies team. It was always going to be a huge struggle with Mackin out at this stage of the championship - akin to Clifford out for Kerry or McGuigan for Derry.
Such bad luck in the end but a great year overall and hopefully they stick together for next year. We should be very proud of all of our county and club teams this year - brilliant.

Fair play to the ladies, less composure in the final 3rd compared to kerry today and dont feel they done themselves justice today but cannot fault them either. Flying the flag for ladies sport locally and leading the way with some of the major progress they have made over the past few years. Never gonna be easy when your missing the best forward in the country either

One imagines that if the Ladies had beaten Kerry that they would have had every chance against Galway.

However, congratulations to Clann Éireann ladies who won the O’Neills All-Ireland 7s title, held at the Naomh Mearnóg and St Sylvester’s clubs in Dublin on Saturday. Two goals from Meabh McCambridge were among the highlights. I wonder does anyone else in her family play football?

If Aimee Mackin had been playing g against Kerry, I am confident that Armagh would have beaten them. And judging by Kerry v Galway, we would have won the final too. Imagine - only for that injury, we would have been double All Ireland champions.

And the minors came close too, but beaten in the end by a stronger Derry team.

And injury to Kelly Mallon also had important impact. Kelly and Aimee worked well together and cuased panic in any backline.. The damage they inflicted on Kerry in league final a good example of what they could do when fully fit.

Took in the finals yesterday up in Silverbridge. The senior was a formality, Clann Éireann too strong. The intermediate was a cracker! Clans looked home and hosed with 8 points up at the start of the second half but then fell apart and derrynoose came back and won it by 2. Junior was a poor enough game. Ogs deserved it and played the better football but Clann Éireann II were shocking bad.
