Gaa clubs

Yesterday(Saturday) I sent the bulk of the day watching the under 10 blitz at Dromintee, and was reminded of just how significant the GAA is to our people and country. Twenty plus teams from all Ulster counties bar Donegal , plus clubs from Louth and Dublin, attended, and treated all to a festival of outstanding football. Serious competitiveness, combined with great skills and discipline, showcased the best that our games have to offer. And the outstanding sportsmanship exhibited by all players and teams is a tribute to the clubs, coaches and parents involved. Not a naughty act nor an F-bomb to be seen or heard all day. It would make one proud! Oh, and a nod to those whom we normally choose to disdain...David Gough and David Coldrick drove up from Meath to referee the afternoon games. How about that?
