The traditional form book will be thrown out the window for this year. Some clubs will have a serious committed bunch that have kept themselves fit during lockdown and others will have lads who took plenty of beer and will be caught out when games start. Attended a taboo challenge game at the weekend of two clubs who would have been on level par or so last year and one team ran away with it because of fitness

Plenty of oppurtunity for a darkhorse to go on a run with probably the four favourites on the same side of the draw. Don’t rule out a keady or carrickcruppen to go far
Keady would definitely fancy themselves to make a semi-final going on that draw.

Decent game for the first outing, both teams missing a few. Good win for our lads without two of our main men. Also a decent reffing performance, fair for both teams and got most calls correct. The lead changed hands a few times. We hit the front with a 5 min spell, scoring 1-1. The game went end to end sarsfield player bizarley chose not to take a scorable mark, blasting it wide. We held on in the end for a decent start to the campaign.

Culloville Vs Sarsfields
Sarsfields. Culloville look to be struggling in the league and I fancy Sarsfields as outright Favourites for championship. Culloville will probably be more concerned this year with avoiding another relegation

Tir Na Nog vs St Pauls
St. Paul’s. very close one, can only see a point or two in it, neither team firing on all cylinders in the league but think St. Paul’s will edge it.

Ballyhegan vs Whitecross
Fancy the south Armagh men for this one. Ballyhegan should push them but think whitecross will be a bit cuter for them.

Keady vs Middletown
Fancy Keady to edge this, but don’t see either team progressing past the next round.

Collegeland vs Carrickcruppen
Cruppen seem to be motoring well in the league and have a good young up-coming team. Dark horses for the championship

Clonmore Vs Wolfe Tones
Tones should edge this one. Clonmore will give it a rattle but Tones have a bit extra in their locker imo.

An Port Mor Vs Tullysaran
tullysaran for this one. Joint top of 2A and probably that bit better on paper.

Shane O’Neills Vs Clan Na Gael
Shane’s for me. Clans without soupy seem to struggle
