They really havent a clue. Announcing the BT60 restrictions and in the next bulletin announcing tbe pubs reopening. You’d need to be soft in the head to listen to a word of it.

There is logic to this. The thought is that house parties or gatherings are spreading the virus. That is why they are restricting the numbers. By opening pubs they also hope people will abandon house parties and go to drink in ( theory anyway) a more controlled environment. Problem is so many are not following the basic rules and by their actions are making harsher restrictions more likely.

Lots of people continue to do the right things, but all that hard work is being undone by too many people who have given up doing the right things.

Harsher restrictions are more likely as @Throwball says, and one of those could possibly be no spectators at the Inter county championship, or scrapping of the competition altogether.

Driving through lurgan yesterday and seeing both clubs flags hanging side by side on lamposts is a great sight and over the last 6 months for many of us it has been our ray of sunshine.. listening to soupy interview it hit home how big the final is. Best friends and families going head to head with each other as you said too.. really looking forward to sunday..

There wont be a keg of beer left in lurgan by the middle of next week when the bars open again.
Any blue & white round the Shankill?:confused:o_O

Congratulations to any Clans' men here. Although no-one has a right to be playing at any particular level, Clan na Gael should really not be playing outside Senior.

When it comes to the soccer, for my sins I follow Super Leeds, and I have a soccer mad nephew who doesn't understand the fuss about Leeds returning to the Premier League. I also see parallels here with Clans. The same nephew wasn't born when Clans last won the Senior and has never really seen them play in the Senior Championship, so has no idea of the force Clan na Gael were for so many years in Armagh football.

I had a feeling that if we turned up that we could run out handy enough winners but I was of course worried that finals don't normally turn out like that. St Paul's never got going at all as our defence turned over a massive amount of ball. Apart from the long ball into Murnin, they didn't seem to have a plan B.

At times Soup was unplayable and deserved of the MOTM award. Young Lennox ran him close with a special performance in his own right.

A bit of a shame that we cant get a rattle at Ulster.

It's great to be back in senior football.
