Junior championship 2018

Good physical final tonight. Ref let too much go IMO and never kept up with play. Best team in league & championship all year showed their worth. A few port mor men could have seen the line. A keady lad struck out straight in front of the linesman too who bottled it and never said it to the ref. Port mor should have concentrated on playing football at times instead of trying to kill a man every time there was a 50/50 ball, a lot of malice in their tackles which was clear to see at the start of the 2nd half when a keady lad was emptied front on as soon as he released the ball. Number 6, 10 and 14 should take a good look at themselves. Let themselves and their club down tonight.

Keady very impressive and kicked some fantastic scores from range. Their number 2, 6, 19 and 15 stood out for me. Probably number 2 MOTM for me. Great wee player, should be on the All Star team. He was great in the semi final too. Keady will give Ulster a good rattle.

Fancy keady for the Junior Championship 2020

I think keady need to question some of their own players.

Keady hit some great scores and created excellent chances.
However, and in particular their no 19, they need to stop the very public display of goading that went on.

I understand that keady were whining about the physicality of some of the games they played in this year.

Best team on paper all year but no bottle in the tackle and intermediate B will be a lot tougher. Its a physical game get on with it as undoubtedly the players are there, at present.

Having played Port Mor twice this year I’d be pretty certain the lad he was goading was talking in his ear the whole game, although I hate goading I thought it was great to see him put in his box.

Not to take away from the game itself.

Great game, Port Mor were flying for the first 10mins and went 3-0 up then took the foot off the gas I thought.

Some year for Keady in both codes.

Our boys have been brilliant this year and played some great football, well deserved league and championship double. Hopefully carry this on to intermediate next year.

A big shout out to the management, they have done an unbelievable job. I hope they stay on for years to come

Hearing rumours that Cullyhanna 2nds have folded. Disappointing if true, always a good physical side but like many clubs I think they struggled with numbers and commitment last year. Suspect a few other teams to fold in the next few years as a lot seem to be in the same boat.

I suspect they’ll just revert to fielding a normal reserve side

When we opened the forum we also set up a Facebook page. We haven't put a thing on there in quite a while, but would like to get it active. For those of you on Facebook, if you haven't already liked the page please do so - https://www.facebook.com/orchardfans/
and remember it is free. Ask all your Armagh supporting family and friends to do the same. It would be cool if we could get it active for those that don't know about us here and want to be able to discuss all things Armagh GAA without hindrance from the officialdom!

Thanks again everyone.
