Junior Football League 2019

Bad day at the office at the brack today, missing a lot of guys with injury’s. Take nothing away from killeavy great team, even with tight nunbers they still blew us away. Only two games in tho, a lot more surprises in store. For me at this stage now if I had to predict a league winner it would be forkhill.

Another win on the board for Clady although we haven't played any of the stronger teams yet. Was anyone at forkhill v derrynoose? sounded like a good game

With 15 teams competing there doesn’t seem any reason why it cannot be A and B the same as the rest. Make it a bit easier for the weaker teams
They split after one round into A and B
It's all to do with new teams entering and maybe sometimes there are no second teams entered
The divisions could be very lop sided so this solution works

what is the sense behind having games for next wednesday evening? why could they not be next friday? lots of teams with teachers who have pre booked holidays for easter are struggling from what i hear

Sorry meant to say are all the teachers back on Friday?
Were these fixtures in the original fixture list or are they changes?
not sure when the teachers are back, depends on different schools. Yes they were in the original fixtures but they could easily be at the weekend. midweek games are always a stress

I'm sure if your club, and all clubs to that matter, saw the original fixtures then this anamoly would/could have been seen and each club could have queried it.
I know that, for example, all clubs are asked before the fixtures are completed for clubs to put forward dates that may not suit them eg weddings, stag events, club fundraising events etc... I believe Armagh CCC is one of the few if maybe the only one who do this.
Personally I'd say stop whining but sure the CCC is wrong, the county is wrong, the other club is wrong but the club(s) with these issues are ok.

Very early in the year to be playing evening games, really struggled for light this evening. I appreciate lads work and it’s hard to make it much earlier especially for away games but 7.30 throw in at this time of the year is just stupid from the county board.

Some big wins so far, massive one for Killeavy over Forkhill.
