How long are teams expected to wait for a referee to turn up?
Last night Alan Taylor was down to referee the Belleek v Thomas Davis game which was due to start at 8pm and both teams were on the pitch ready to go. No ref arrived and someone got in contact with Paudie Hughes who came and done the game, the game didn't throw in until 9pm. Seems to be a regular occurrence with referees not turning up/turning up late this year. It's a bit of a joke, I don't think it would happen in the senior league.

The game should have been called off if they had to wait that long. The level of referees they send to do junior games is a joke itself. Half of them don't know most of the rules. Ruins games and turns people off football.

do they not alternate the refs between the leagues? Div 1 first week, then div 2/3/4 etc? Brave wait till 9pm!!
Yep, all refixed for Friday 14th June at 8pm according to the Fixtures/Results section on the Armagh website.
not been on in a few days but Clady lost the points against Belleek. They just put up the score that stood after 40 mins before the row broke out. Clady also had the sub who got struck in the face by the belleek linesman (that started the row) handed with a 48 week suspension and the club got a fine. does anyone know if Belleek got any suspensions or fines? takes two to tango.

Complete mis representation of what happened, first of all game was in injury time so you may get a new watch, secondly the county board headed by cladyman mickey savage got the call completely right as your sub ran off his bench up the sideline and repeatedly struck the linesman. 48 weeks isn’t long enough for that thug, not that he gets game time anyway.
