Shocked at the derrynoose v dorsey result. Would have thought dorsey would put it up to derrynoose.

big win for belleek, they are looking strong going into the championship.

have Mullabrack closed the gap or were st michaels very poor?

Belleek and Derrynoose will be hard to stop. Belleek are flying and very strong. Mullabrack have closed the gap and will pick up a few points I'd say, I haven't seen Newtown this year yet

No love lost between them two sides either lol derrynoose knocked them out of the championship the last 2 years in a row. Hopefully they meet again this year

Forkhill 0.15-1.13 Éire Óg full time. Forkhill up by 4 with 5 mins to go and Éire Óg got a penalty..exciting finish. Both teams set up negatively with plenty men behind the ball

Hmm, I'd disagree we set up negative tbh but it was a good game I thought. Anyone who paid the £4 today will be happy enough woth their afternoons viewing

Forkhill set up with 13 men behind the ball and Éire Óg took the sweepers in the first half but both teams pushed up slightly second half, Éire Óg kept men back to marshal jemar who found it hard to break them down. The Éire Óg line didn’t make things easy for the ref, even when he was clearly playing advantage they were screaming for frees.

Few shocks tonight, belleek being beat by Lissummon 0.18-1.07 and clady beat out the gate by dorsey 3.17-1.09. Derrynoose steamrolled Newtown 1.18-0.08, O’Hanlons edged out Mullabrack 2.12-0.08 and Forkhill beat Killeavy seconds comfortably 3.11-0.10. Derrynoose and Éire Óg remain unbeaten

I'd hardly call ohanlons beating mullabrack by 10pts "edging"
Derrynoose won by 13 and its steamrolled
Forkhill win by 10 and its comfortable
Clady lose by 14 and its "out the gate"

You must work for the printed press ;)

If I was working for printed press I wouldn’t be in a job long. I guess some of them scores were slightly over exaggerated.

went to the clady game and they were beat out the gate in my opinion. Never really put up much of a challenge

Éire Óg got a big win last night. They will fancy themselves for league and championship now after beating two of the favourites in the league. Cross played 13 men behind the ball last night. Cruel stuff to watch.

Tough night at the office last night, very surprised at how ultra-defensive cross were. Ogs really should have clipped over a number more scores and hit too many wides but very happy with the win regardless

Your shooting let you down badly last night. Last night we had a very young side out with only a few older heads. The defensive football was unusual and not the norm. Still we had changes to get something out of it but EO deserved the points on the performance of both teams.

A few years in junior would be good for our development
