At least if your quick you can make it out tonight
Yeah, it was very considerate of them to wait until 8 o'clock so it didn't disturb us watching the Armagh game.

Mrs Eireogatron is away out on the bevvy and I'm minding the the mini-eireogatrons because I said I'd to stay off the beer for the game.... Fuming

Poor form that. Surely they knew before now what numbers they had available.

Belleeks Vs Eire og is off tomorrow....

Apparently Belleeks have had a "suspected" covid outbreak today and the team are getting tested so the the results won't be back until tomorrow... Even though some of their players our boys know didn't know about it.... Call me cynical but it's a handy way of getting a game postponed when you've a few injuries.....

You may have a point but I wouldn’t rule out there actually being a few cases in the camp. Not sure about down around your way but Newry/South Armagh area have a lot of cases at the minute and a lot of businesses closed etc. Take a small panel and 2 or 3 having to isolate, you aren’t left with much choice but to call the game off. No way to prove positive cases/isolation etc but businesses face the same frustration with their staff unfortunately

Yup, totally understand that but without naming anybody I have seen texts from players with certain statements and emojis that leave no doubt in my mind that the "game" is being played to bide some some for injuries. Saturday afternoon before a game and all of a sudden we're waiting for results yet players haven't actually been tested.....

Following on from above, it is somewhat strange that a player in a squad was unware of an outbreak and hadn't been tested despite the fact the club was claiming they were waiting on results and the Co Board then apparently had "sufficient evidence" to suggest 2 positive cases.

Outside of this situation with ourselves which was laughable, the Co Board need to look at how they are dealing with this and follow the rules. There was another case with an intermediate match this weekend where a team requested a change previously, weren't granted it and then mysteriously developed a COVID outbreak close to the game in question and it was off.

I am completely aware of the seriousness of COVID and the consequences of an outbreak but the reality is that there are 2 sets of teams involved in all this and numerous families impacted as a result of all this and the messing about. Teams need to take their oil if they have a few injuries or at least be honest.

Who gets promoted to play Intermediate B next season? Say the league stays as it is, Éire Óg and Cross end up finishing top two with Forkhill in third… does the league winner go up as well as Forkhill (2020 JFC winners) AND this year’s Junior championship winner? Or do Forkhill just play intermediate championship this year stay junior league for next year?

Forkhill play IFC this year and will play intermediate league and championship next year. I think top 2 junior league finishers get promoted to intermediate also so 3 going up and 2 coming down. I think that’s the case anyway

As far as I am aware,

If forkhill win the league only them and the 2021 championship winners go up.

Failing that, if someone does the double then them and forkhill go up.

Lastly, if someone other than forkhill wins the league and there is a different championship winner then all 3 teams go up for 2022

What’s the craic now in terms of the league? Is it a 16 game league?
Everyone played each other once before the leagues split in to A & B and then played the teams in A/B once again. Last few league games remaining now.
