Just if anyone is interested in book for Xmas present or anything etc, Amazon are doing a limited time (I'm not sure for how long) deal of 25 per cent off.

I'm a bit of a slow reader which is why everyone else makes the clever and astute points on the forum long before me. It's also why I am only getting round to this now.

The book was the best Christmas present ever. Given I ordered, paid for and wrapped it myself I might be biased and a bit sad! I didn't realise it was not a book but actually a paper and ink mini tardis. It comes at the period from different angles and, unlike so many other gaa books isn't just an indulgence or a long match report.
It reflects a brilliant time to be an Armagh fan with the highs and the lows. During that period we added belief and expectancy to our ever-present hope. Bar coming with the indie/britpop soundtrack of the time it had me engrossed and I don't read books much.

The other scary thing is I can see some parallels to where we might be heading currently.

Definitely worth getting your hands on as is this one instance where nostalgia is what it used to be.

Incredibly kind words. I'm really glad you enjoyed it and, also, couldn't agree more with your penultimate paragraph on the current crop.
