McCambridge was on the panel last year (2020), played mckenna cup. Was also on the panel in 2018/19. You'd have thought he'd have made his presence felt a little more. Great player any time I've seen CE play.

Has anyone heard any mermers? Interesting to see if we go outside county? Seems to be the trend at the moment

Unless cases drop to very small figures and the roll out of the vaccine scales up very quickly I can see club championship being played first and then inter county championship towards the end of the year.
I can't see any national league this year unless government grants cover county team expenses. No spectators means no income.
Sport is going to be hit very hard this year by the looks of it unless the first two points are covered.

Anthony Tohill would be interesting.

I would be near certain he will get the Derry job when it next comes up. A run out in the inter county scene, especially in Division 1 definitely makes sense for him.

As for us we need a voice that McGeeney will listen to and respect. AT brings that and probably a lot more.

The “probably” is my only reservation. As impressive as his footballing and personal pedigree is it would be good to have the proven coaching pedigree.

I would be happy to see it given a rattle
