I went for the season ticket this year but not sure how it works. Anyone know when the match tickets usually become available on your account?
You should have had an email to say your ticket is available, with a link to sign in and to redeem your ticket online.
Once you've redeemed your ticket, all the Armagh league fixtures will appear for selection, and you need to select each game you intend on going to and add it to your cart.
Once you have "completed the purchase" you will be able to download your ticket.
It's not the most clear cut process.

Yes confusing all right. That’s what it is saying at the minute there are no games available to select ??

The only e mail I received was the one confirming I purchased the ticket
No e mail to redeem ticket and no option to do so on the website
These ticketmaster jokers don’t even have a help line
Have to Send an e mail

Having the exact same problem here. Could have bought tickets last night/this morning outside of the season ticket I've already purchased. Just waiting patiently for the Redeem function to work but so far nothing.

If you search "GAA season ticket" into your email it should appear. I received my email on 6th Jan.
The email looks like this and you just need to follow the "here" link to sign in and redeem.
If you haven't recieved the email, then it will just be a case of contacting ticketmaster via email.

I got sorted. Sent an e mail to sports.tickets@ticketmaster.ie There was a fault on my account which they fixed and the 'redeem' function is now working.

But on a separate note, the GAA is supposed to be all inclusive organisation but I fear they have left the older generation behind with the introduction of all electronic tickets. I would consider myself fairly IT literate but I was banging my head off the wall trying to sort the issue with the season ticket. No helpline so if you have no access to email your screwed. Not to mention, and I have witnessed this at least twice in the last few months, older people wandering around the gates with cash in their hand trying to buy a ticket and no one wants to know.
No way to treat people.

Yes I'm going to have send the email as well it would seem. Everyone being helpful here but I've already tried those other things. Thanks.

So, Wednesday evening.

I was one of the mad folk that travelled down to Cavan Town (1 hour and 41 minutes from Lurgan M1 junction). Heavy water lying along the road for the most part made me almost [almost] turn around a couple of times, but I went on. Strangely I enjoyed the evening. Maybe it was because I genuinely didn't expect much and just went for an evening out of the house. I spoke about my low expectation on a DM with a few others on here, so that's not just something I am saying now.

Overall it actually felt much like the game against the shower in the AG before Christmas '21 that was played for charity, and no one that I was with really seemed to care how it was going - except for the odd "what the actual?" and "are they having a laugh"? Certainly nobody I was speaking to was too concerned about the result. We said when the changes were being made at half time that it was obvious it was not being taken seriously, so there was no point getting too anxious about it.

My opinion for what it's worth and it's only an alternative opinion, I kind of get why so many changes. Maybe it really was a tactic (which I believe and I'll explain in a minute). Throw the lads on, some at the deep end and lets see what happens. Remember you had possibly one of the most dangerous forwards in Ireland playing in that second half and he could barely hit the catch nets his shooting was so far off. Do you seriously think that he is finished and isn't gonna recover form as the league progresses and the ground firms up?? Come on, a little perspective. I'm only using him to illustrate my thinking and not singling him out because I'm not going to go over others individually.

Now why do I believe it was a ploy throwing so many on at once? We use video recordings of games to analyse performances. I think we all know that. So how do you give someone a fair analysis if we don't see them play? It's possible [maybe remotely so] that they will each get their performance broken down and areas identified to work on with just over two weeks until the League begins in Blayney (remember that's when we get the league started so it's not months away like some feel it is).

Yes I know this a far way away from how I've looked at this in the past, but I'll say again what I've said so many times over the last 7-8 years, it is only sport. No one lost anything - well maybe money, but if you can't afford to feel as if you lost it, then maybe that's a different topic for another forum. Get things in perspective. there is a family not too far from where I live that would dearly love to be annoyed at the damp conditions and the fact that Armagh lost, but they can't because they have actual important things on their mind. Only earlier this week the county said goodbye to one of those who we, in the past loved to watch play the game we love and our thoughts are with the family. Not so long ago one of the popular supporters that travelled the country with his beloved flag was taken way too soon - and I love the fact it was back on the terrace on Wednesday evening in the rain as he, I'm sure would have loved.

Absolutely get annoyed when the team don't perform or lose or both and absolutely voice an opinion, but just do it with a little perspective and don't go down the throat of others because their thoughts differ from yours. Their opinion is every bit as valid (we once had a member on the old county forum that absolutely did not agree with anything anyone posted even if they were simply agreeing with what he/she (I never really knew or understood which) had posted.
If you or the players are annoyed that a game is lost it is because a win was wanted and meant something, but as Confucius once said................

My finger are sore now, so I'm going back into my darkened room................

McKenna cup is there to be used whatever way you want. If you had a young team and were newly promoted and had your more winnable games were at the start of the league I can see why you would go strong at the McKenna Cup games.

If you were casting the net wide I can see why you go for loads of changes.

But I can’t see anybody going strong because the trophy is in and of itself worth bothering about.

When you travel to a McKenna cup match you kinda know that the starting team is likely to be weakened and management may be using the game for their own purposes.

I was just reading over your post again @Big Jim , and you were correct in your points. But the bit in bold sums it up.

I didn’t get to Cavan, but watching it on tv, I have to say it was emotional seeing those lads back with the flag again.

Perspective.
