Minimum expectation is an ulster final.

If we can't beat Antrim, Cavan and winners of Down/Donegal then McGeeney should go.

Until that's decided, there's no point discussing a change in manager.

Be careful, Niall.

You're not allowed to show any positivity on here!

Had chances this year to make ourselves safe and didn't. Lessons to be learned but the panic button being hit by some of our patrons in the county where we self profess as 'the best supporters in Ireland'.

You wouldn't get it in Windsor Park. We'll judge the season when the Championship is over.
What a thoroughly ridiculous comment. It difficult debating with people who accept mediocrity and are not blessed with intelligence.

I suppose with an attitude like that you would be happy with the current management. We should have beaten Galway, Kerry and Roscommon bit didn't because of terrible tactics on the line. Never mind the fine margins, the margins were massive all through the league. Today we actually played well, had we played like this all year we would not be in the position we are. We played open attacking football but it was too late. We were not relegated today, it happened against the three teams above.
As a matter of fact, I am happy with the current management team, yes.

I think it's a bit naive to suggest that if we'd went all out attacking in Tralee we'd have got 2 points. We had two men in Clifford for a start. Sacrifice that and you don't know what the outcome would have been.

Galway were the team with 15 men behind the ball for the first 35 minutes. We reacted to it. Had we went all out then again, we'd have struggled. We'd one in front and one behind Walsh that day too.

So on two occasions we sacrificed an extra body to stop a danger man. And it left us just short. The goal conceded against Galway was a shocker but had we stumbled over the line that day and stayed up, all roads would lead to the Championship and the mood and conversation here would be very different.

We've had horrendous luck with injuries this campaign, tipified with Murnin going off today. There's some players that I personally wouldn't have playing at the minute and would leave on the bench but the difficulty then is that we don't have the replacements. And therein lies my comment about not having a good enough squad.

That's my one criticism of management, team selection on some occasions. But again, don't have the players.

So I'll stay positive. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

deservedly relegated
Division 2 is where we are at

I do think maybe a fresh voice and fresh ideas of management next season could spearhead the team, its helped other counties

We had absolutely no killer instinct over them 7 games, 1 goal and it was a gift .
We never ever ever looked like we were gonna score a goal in those games.

Cavan in breffini will be relishing us (beating Antrim that is)

Sad Sunday :(

But we will continue to support the team as always and hope for a long summer

Depends on the provincial finalists really...not sure if this impacts it, but one of Leitrim, sligo, new York and London will be in a connacht final this year...teams that would obviously be destined for Tailteann Cup will be in the all Ireland series.

There could be teams in D1 knowing their place will be secure in the AI series because they are high ranked that may not take the provincials seriously. If Mayo, Kerry and Dublin decide they have had enough of the provincials we are in deep sh*t.

What on earth would they have to do to make you unhappy? As I said earlier it is you and others who show blind loyalty who are a major part of the problem.

Spot on and makes a mockery of the provincial system...but end of the day, we should be beating Antrim, Cavan and Down/Donegal. So it's all in our hands.

Not a chance in hell we miss out. Never in a million years.

Counties haven't been taking the provincials seriously for a decade but we're not going to have a Wicklow-Wexford Leinster final.

If I was Meath though I would be sweating.
