This baffles me, Armagh have used this regularly but surely this was a huge blow to their prep over a simple thing that could have been managed, not like McGeeney to interrupt prep
Bad work from Carton house given the amount of trade we’ve given them and continue to, surely there was enough time between Armagh and United going to change the pitch markings ffs. One thing about Geezer is he’d be stubborn, can’t see us ever going back there now.

Who was awarded MOTM yesterday? I didn't pick it up but I hope it wasn't Murphy for the actual message that would send out.

I will add I have read some things on facebook in the last 24 hours and the names Murphy has been called is rediculous, lets face it lads he isn't the first man ever to throw a punch on a football field. I am in no way justifying what he done but there is absolutely no call for the villified nonsense which people are posting. The majority of what I am seeing is also from Armagh fans which is emabarassing. There seems to have been a real rise in the bad blood from Donegal and Armagh in the past couple of years and it's reaching the lows of the soccer mentality. Rivalries are a great thing, no need to rub it in or stoop to the levels of those who do, the satisfaction is th winning of the games and the trophy cabinet.
Well said, the level of slurs on Murphy is just embarrassing. Its not like Armagh are angels or have never done similar, just because Donegal are doing well, we cant lose the run of ourselves. He's an extremely talented footballer and a civil lad. You're right-we don't want those lows of soccer fan mentality to creep in.

I agree. At the same time you want offenders, repeat offenders at that, punished

On an auld work secondment in the states so have been unable to dedicate some time to the forum. But when I saw someone post a list of most disliked counties and not have it as follows;

1. Down
2. Donegal
3. Down
4. Down
5. Down

You get the gist. Also, don’t agree with the narrative of Murphy being a ‘nice guy’. His behaviour on the field has been consistent in its cynical, dirty nature. There are plenty of examples of some of our lads, The Smalls from Dublin and plenty of others being ridiculed and belittled in the media and on social media for incidents with some rumbling on for weeks and weeks. Three days later and Murphy’s scud is gone from the spotlight.

I think that is the biggest problem. Every team has a player that can step over the line but Murphy seems to get off lightly on the criticism. That is the big issue

Forker got a lot of stick for the headbut on Murphy last year from loads of Armagh ones players should be given stick when they go out to harm other players Murphy always gets away with things because who he is,it's fuck all to do with Donegal doing well
