Big crowd at the launch eh? Was it because it was in the big smoke of Craigavon, and that the true Armagh fans are all in north Armagh?

Robbing people on exchange rate so 48 sterling not near 70 euro....brexit me arse
Robbing is an understatement. +10% would be about right so less than €55 should be the target even allowing for a commission - I'd imagine they've a wholesale rate at the bank because of the volume of transaction and turnover. The more I think about it, the bigger disgrace it is

Wife just telling me that a 16 year old has got sacked from oneills over "leaked" photo of Armagh jersey. They had no proof based it on probability. Looks like county board asked for a head!!!

That's sort of right, but partly wrong.

They did indeed have proof. Four members of staff on duty that evening and one had it posted on their social media. They were all asked to open their phones and show recent photos. 3 did and 1 wouldn't. They were told if the one that did it didn't own up everyone would be let go and the guilty party fessed up. So yeah technically they didn't have any proof except the posting on SM and an admission.

They have a clause in their contracts that state no phones in stock rooms etc. and breaches like this would lead to instant dismissal for gross misconduct. As far as I can make out, CB had nothing to do with it. It was solely down to O'Neill and their procedures. I think a severe rap over the knuckles and a final warning or something would have been suffice, but letter of the law says they were entitled to let them go. There is no law in the land would let you dismiss someone without proof or admission. O'Neill would be hung out to dry and rightly so. Neither is it fair to throw accusations at county board which may have been correct, but still inappropriate.

My nephew now works for them and that's where I got that from.
