I didn’t realise the seriousness of Oisin’s journey to the airport.

Remember reading in his book that he’d spent the taxi fare in the bookies and had to walk, but didn’t realise he was in as dark a place as he was.

Unbelievable to think he was still turning in great performances during all this.

You have to admire him even more (as well as pity him).
Extraordinary that he could still perform on the field as he did.
One of the greatest.
