Yeah I think that's about right, but not sure if Tony McEntee started that game. I don't remember Kieran Hughes starting the final either and I can only remember Bumpy O'Hagan coming in a a sub but I know there was at least one other, possibly Tony Mc because I don't think he started that day either. It used to be so easy to remember these things as Armagh didn't play all that often and it was fairly recent. Now those things are a Looooong time ago and we seem to play every other week now

I believe this was the team that day Tierney,McNulty,Bellew,McNulty,McCann,McGeeney,O'Rourke,McGrane,Toal,McKeever,McEntee,Marsden,McConville,Clarke,McDonnell

The answer was Diarmuid Marsden. Retired after 2004 season, although he did return in 2007.

But he was the second to retire from the 2002 starting 15, after Benny Tierney.

Hmm sounds like a trick question. I mean, why would No 22 be significant?

A regular who missed out through injury? A second goalkeeper? Player manager? Was there even a no 22?

Am I close with any of that?
