Just wondering if anyone who had a Season ticket last year has received a renewal e-mail? I thought the e-mail was normally sent in October but no sign of one as yet.

Season ticket information should go out today or Monday. Being available to buy on Friday 08/11

Emailed them yesterday because I thought everything was running behind too.

Not sure how often everyone is checking their e-mails these days, so just to let you know in case you've missed it, all Season Ticket holders have been sent an e-mail in relation to the ongoing situation.

You are aware that there is a controversy about the ST as HQ have changed the conditions and it looks like if games don't start (it's now highly unlikely going by several statements over the past few days from several GAA sources) there will be no refunds so they get to keep the money without delivering all the games expected when it was bought. Ironically one of the voices from the 15-person Coiste Bainistí is saying that games should be suspended until next year including the club games and club championship.

They are offering a refund or discount off next year now. No specifics though! If season doesn't recommence that is.

Seems than that they've reacted properly to the fact that supporters won't be conned and it would be a major own goal in terms of PR. Thank heavens for that.

I just worry now about how they will determine how "the" or "a" season can start/restart. If they/we have to wait for a vaccine, then surely that would be dependant on 100% take up. So what happens if 10 players in a squad decide they're not taking the risk with it? What if it's even only the one but it's the team superstar? What if everyone in a squad do take it, but the opposition don't 100% take it up? Can they just throw that team out? Is that fair on the players that lose out even though the majority are protected and what feeling would that leave among team-mates? So many questions!!
