Strange indeed. Perfectly logical from the keeper, they were behind, time running out, needed to get ball out quickly. Bad luck that a strong wind held the ball up and that a Granemore player was right on the endline. If you have been following football a long time you think you can never see anything new but it happened today.

I thought cross’s first goal on Friday would be the strangest of the year

Just bad day at the office for Killeavy
Anything that could go wrong did
Missed peno and Man sent off in first half
And despite that when they managed to pull it back level with 5 mins to go there only looked like one winner
But that goal - Jesus and it wasn’t just the keeper at fault, most of the defenders also thought it had gone wide and were setting up for the kick out
Will be a major upset if granemore can put it up to cross think killeavy would have gave them more of a game

Tg4 knew to cover the Upper Creggan game, the spiritual home of Armagh football. It is a pity Culloville didn't make the Intermediate final.

The battles between Upper Creggan and Lower Creggan are always well worth the entry fee….

Trying to watch a re run of this game on Armagh tv but only option it is giving is to watch it live at a cost of £80 anyone have a solution
Still waiting on this game to become available
It will probably become available for replay in a day or two for £5 as the games last week are. The £80 pass is not great value at this stage of the season.
still not available to watch Has anyone else tried? Trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong ??

The titles of the games will change from live to ‘rerun’ when they do become available. Still not available yet, taking longer than usual.

I guess we are strong favourites this weekend but think Granemore will surprise a few. Nothing to lose and physically very strong. Defensively they will be hard to break down. 3-4 point win for us at best

Any more predictions for tomorrow?

As much as I would love to see it being an even enough game especially as it's Granemores first senior final I would be surprised if Cross don't win by 7 or 8. Cross seem to have corrected their slow starts last time out and have a lot of forward quality and the ability to take scores from distance against a compact defence. Hard to see where Granemore will get enough scores from but don't doubt for a minute they will be fully committed.

Hoping for an enjoyable game as a neutral and if it is close going i to the last 10 mins there will be a great atmosphere.

Hopefully we’ll see a good contest. Cross have been there on the big day before plenty of times, and know how to win (and lose too, as we’ve seen the last two years).

I just hope the occasion doesn’t get to Granemore, being their first final and all, and they give a good account of themselves.

Best of luck to the young referee Shane Murphy as well. I believe it’s his first senior final. Hopefully he does well.

Fairy disappointing final for the neutral. While Cross were full value for their win, Granemore didn’t present much of a challenge. While I suspect nerves from playing in a first ever final contributed, they were made to look very, very ordinary today. Congratulations to Cross on your zillionth title, I expect you to give Ballybay a good rattle and perhaps reacquaint yourselves with some old friends from County Down.
