Senior championship

Ulster club is a minefield, especially at Junior and Intermediate level. Lots of new teams coming out of each county most years.

It may come down to home advantage, weather, over-celebrating, panels are stretched etc that some teams go through and others don’t.

The only team that consistently does well at lower level is Rock, and some seem to suggest they seem contented to remain a junior club as that’s their level and maintains success at that level, rather than be overwhelmed as a small club at Intermediate level.

While Armagh teams lack Ulster success, remember a number have reached the decider. I could be wrong but I seem to recall the likes of Clonmore, Culloville, Tullysaran going far.

Listen lads speaking from my own personal experience—26 years the Grange waited on an Intermediate Championship, I had the Monday booked off with the intentions of going back on the Tuesday and I didn’t get back to whork until the Thursday. There was that good of an ambience in the community. It’s easy looking in to other teams and talking about Ulster. Nobody sets out to win an Ulster at the start of the year. I like your thinking Pat Cully

Sunday to Thursday @Hose ? Jesus, how thirsty were you? :D

I can understand celebrating a title, but down a few drinks, and back at it. Refocus and do your club even more pride by going on and bringing it to a bigger stage than most can only dream of.

Pat Mustard until you’re in the position of your club winning a championship after 26 years you won’t understand

I waited far more than 26 years to win a championship. I wasn’t alive for quite a few of those years, but I was still waiting all the same.
